Student Timetable Changes

We create our school timetables based on the course selections students submit, including chosen alternate courses. Many classes are full, so we have very limited ability to make changes. We encourage all students to carefully review the reasons above before booking an appointment.

Review of Timetables

• Book appointments to discuss timetable changes through School Online Appointments. (https://merritt.schoolappointments.com/?action=login-form)
• Username: the student's school email address
• Password: the student's two initials (lowercase) + their student number
• Select a counsellor based on your last name and grade:
  • Grade 12
  • Gr 8 to 11 – A to K (last name)
  • Gr 8 to 11 – L to Z (last name)

Appointment Availability

• Grade 8s – should not have to alter or change their timetables (unless the student has an incomplete schedule)
• Grade 9 to 12 students (appointments booked online)

• Appointments will be available in the mornings from September 3rd to September 9th.

   

Appropriate Reasons to Book an Appointment

1. You do not have a full timetable

2. You are missing required courses for graduation

3. You are not enrolled in a course required for post-secondary plans

4. You were unsuccessful in a course and need to repeat it

Inappropriate Reasons for Requests

Please do not book appointments to change your timetable to match a peer or to request a different teacher.
