Graduation

Important Dates:

We will be adding the important dates soon. Local scholarship deadlines will be in mid-March.

Graduation Requirements:

Graduation requires at least 80 credits in Grades 10-12, and there are some specific course requirements as well. Please review this document for the complete list of graduation requirements in British Columbia.

Capstone:

The capstone is a rigorous learning opportunity that allows students to reflect and share in personally meaningful ways, and it is a requirement for Career-Life Connections 12 and graduation. The purpose of the capstone is for students to demonstrate the knowledge, competencies, and passion(s) that they can offer the world, as they integrate personal interests and strengths with preferred future possibilities. You can access more information with the link here.

Fairy Godmother Application:

Graduation is a time to celebrate! The Fairy Godmother Program accepts applications from graduating students who have financial needs. We provide up to $300 towards the costs associated with grad formal attire (gown/suit/tux) and/or grad photos. Deadline for all applications is April 30th. We also have a closet of donated dresses/gowns/suits for graduates to wear and keep. Our closet is open to all graduates, regardless of financial need (no application needed). Please contact one of the Fairy Godmothers if you would like to make an appointment to view our dresses.
